Summary

The Levon is a large, inland body of mainly fresh-water that nearly bisects the continent of Alíador north to south on Radrolf with Tamin on the west side and the region of Gharquyn on the east.

The word Levon means, literally, "sea" in old Cinimalenni from which the modern, common, language "Montrish" derives with many old Mintan cognates.

Since the Levon is the only sea in all of Aliador, apart from the great ocean, it was and is often simply referred to as "the Levon" meaning "the sea".
