Radrolf planet

Summary

Radrolf is the third of three planets in the Cenough star system.

Radrolf is one of two inhabited worlds in the Cenough star system, the other being Jimmian.

Both Jimmian and Radrolf are derived from the single planet Reythkien, destroyed some half million years ago by The Watcher.

Radrolf has maintained a relatively primitive technology base in comparison to Jimmian. It has been speculated that this might be due to the continued influence of The Watcher while she existed, the theory being that The Watcher actively interfered with development on Radrolf to minimize the threat level represented by advancing technology until a resolution to the problem could be achieved. Once The Watcher was neutralized by William and Cinthia Faridon, there was no longer any need for technology to be moderated within the confines of Radrolf. Another theory suggested by The Watcher herself was that the native population of Reythkien deliberately kept the Fentûk, that is the decedents of the invaders, from developing advanced technology to keep them under control.

Government

Radrolf has no single, centralized government, although the ancient civilization of Minta came closest to unifying the Fentûk people of Radrolf under a single monarch. Since then, only Tamin has come close to the level of control achieved by the ancient Mintans, but for the most part the nations of Radrolf have remained separate feudal estates governed by chieftains or kings of only regional influence.
