Sintynil is a metal and mineral alloy made from Iron, Silicon and Lanthanum. The manufacturing process requires electric and magnetic fields as well as extremely high temperatures.

The final product is a light, metal-like material that is much stronger than steel, electrically non-conductive, has an extremely high melting point and will not oxidize. Essentially, it is the perfect metal for extremely strong, long-lasting constructions.

The primary use for Sintynil is in starship construction both for its strength and its non-reactivity within gravimetric fields.

On Korzon, it is also used extensively as pylon supports for their multi-layer excavation projects beneath the surface of the Korzon home world.
