Palace at Craz

The Palace at Craz is the principal residence of the Monarch of Jimmian and Vezan.

Summary

The Palace at Craz was, in antiquity, built and occupied by one of the few Jimmian wizards (Certían sithare) known in recorded history.

The first known reference to this wizard and the country, Craz, he ruled dates from 1982BU when he appeared rather suddenly in what was then the eastern Girv region of Colednin and quickly routed the Girven force. Over the next twenty years he carved out a massive country for himself offering shelter to all who swore fealty to him and death to any who wouldn't.

In 860BU Ler-ough (literally King Ler) of Vezan dared to attack Craz and the wizard, only to find the palace of Craz suspended and quite inaccessible almost two kilometers above the surrounding countryside. And there is has remained to this day.

Royal House of Vezan

As the palace to the house of Vezan, the palace functions with a staff of attendants, cooks, gardeners, tour-guides, housekeepers and maintenance staff. Palace attendants are broken into two groups. The first are royal attendants on the person of the monarch. Among these in [[Zequ|Zequ's] time were Traûn-Kaden and the young Celanisse. The second group of attendants are general palace attendants who see to all guests of the palace. Among these in Zequ's time were Berenyn the most senior attendant and Altonis.

Among the tourist support staff was Tylequ of Vezan.
