Summary
Albert Ediz Faridon was born Ali Ediz in Panjwai, Afghanistan southwest of Kandahar in 1987A.D. to Farid Din Durani and Freshta. Farid had been a facilitator for CIA-led operations to supply arms to support the insurgency against the Soviet Union. In 1989, as Soviet forces were preparing to draw down in from Afghanistan, Farid moved his family to neighboring Pakistan and with the help of his CIA contacts managed to fly his family to the United States where they took on new names and were given the opportunity to earn citizenship.
In January of 1990, Farid Din Durani became Darren Faridon and his wife took the name Franchesca Faridon. They renamed their son Ali Ediz, Albert Ediz Faridon. The newly minted Faridon family abandoned the Muslim religion and became Catholic, if only nominally. They attended Catholic mass and had their son baptized and confirmed, but mainly didn't participate after that.
In 2007, Albert graduated from Fordham University with an undergraduate degree in mathematics. His family didn't have enough money to continue his education, and his father had incurred significant debt supporting him through college.
During his education, Albert met and fell in love with a young Russian-Polish-American girl named Natasha (Natalie) Susanna Kozlowski.
After Albert's graduation, the family moved to Watertown, New York. Since Natalie was pregnant, the couple was engaged and the family took her with them to Watertown. Once settled in Watertown, Albert and Natalie were married over the objections of Albert's mother Franchesca.
Late in 2007, Natalie gave birth to a son and they named him Franklin Eric Faridon.
In 2010, after significant marital problems, Natalie and Albert were divorced and Natalie returned to Queens New York, leaving young Franklin behind.
Two years later Albert's parents moved to Florida.
In 2017, Albert's father passed away.
In 2018, Albert married a greek-american girl named Cinthia Mariola Votsis.
Albert and Cinthia had three more children named Alex, Cleo and Franchesca.
In 2047 Albert and Cinthia followed his parents to Florida where Albert took up a senior consulting position in semi-retirement with a local business consulting firm.
In 2052 Albert retired from the consulting firm, bought a deep sea fishing boat and began taking family and friends on vacation out to fish and relax.
Parents
Albert's family settled in New York, New York in 1990 where Darren was a street vendor operating first a hot dog cart, and with significant effort he purchased a polish deli in Queens, New York.
Both Darren and Franchesca worked very long hours at the deli and insisted their son become "completely" American. To Albert's questions about family they mostly refused to answer, but they did tell him they were from Afghanistan.
Albert resented many of his parent's choices but he followed their lead in becoming completely "Americanized".
In 2007, Darren sold the business and moved the family from New York, New York to Watertown, New York to pay off debts incurred for Albert's higher education.
In 2012, Darren and Franchesca moved from Watertown to Cape Coral, Florida where they lived out their retirement.
In 2017, Darren Faridon died of heart failure brought on by heavy cigarette smoking at only 50 years of age.
