Summary
The Korzon government is a two tier parliamentary government of representative democracy. Prior to the war there were 4,739 seats in the lower Korzon parliament, the Zhugara Dahghurn (people's house) and 319 seats selected from it in the upper house, the Ahlyti Dahghurn (upper house).
Prior to the war, there were seven major political parties and a handful of smaller parties with seats in the Zhugara Dahghurn. Only the seven major parties maintained representation in the Ahlyti. By law, a party with a minimum of fifty seats in the Zhugara must be given at least one seat in the upper house.
At the time of the disaster at Delezhavos, the Korzon government majority was a coalition of Kahrézh (Religious), Bahr-Dhor (Business/Commerce) and Mûn-Fahdik (Militarists). Kahrézh led the government with Traahadhi Alyzhovik as Prime Minister. At the time, public sentiment was still for peace with Jimmian, even though frustrations ran high in the public, leading to three general election calls in the ten years leading up to the incident.
Public support was shifting seats each time in the Zhugara-Dahghurn. Bahr-Dhor, which had gained most of its seats early on in the relationship with Jimmian lost the most seats over this time, followed by significantly fewer losses from Kahrézh. Almost all of the changed seats ended up in Mûn-Fahdik, granting more and more power to the Militarists. A few seats however, a dozen or so, passed to Arykhájez, the socialist party, as many poorer people were unhappy with the inequity of wealth coming from Jimmian and ending up mostly with wealthy business owners.
Yet the real landslide came with the massacre at Delezhavos. Within days, the government fell and new general elections called for. These gave an overwhelming surge to Mûn-Fahdik. Bahr-Dhor was decimated, being seen as the chief collaborators and apologists for the Jimmian government up to this point and many of the more pacifist voices among Kahrézh were lost in the sweep too.
This set the stage for the general layout of the current government that has existed throughout the war, with Mûn-Fahdik (Militarists) leading followed by the more militant seats of Kahrézh (Religious) and now the third position and similarly militant Arykhájez (Socialists).
The major political parties on Korzon before the end of the war were:
| Name | Description | Leader |
| Arykhájez | Socialist | Dhonîun Mûn-Tehl |
| Bahr-Dhor | Business/Commerce | Traah Nísviju |
| Dhor-Nûnden | Secularists | Jûnui Skiebendûn |
| Kahrézh | Religious | Illyen Khalytanni |
| Kaîeli | Pragmatists | Jûnfyr Nurzhitarro-Agadossi |
| Mûn-Fahdik | Militarists | Adûrjak Ezhenéz |
| Mûn-Jehhrik | Pacifists | Isadylui Andhur-Netuahn |
