Summary

Senis was born the Crown Princess of Jimmian and Vezan on 14 Mante 1007AU in the Jimmian capital city of Craz. Senis was born the daughter and eldest child of King Andrenough and Aestis Princess of Vezan.

When Senis was almost three years old, her brother Molequ was born the Prince of Girv.

Senis was the favored child but she often rebelled against the continuation of the Jimmian monarchy, expressing sympathy in private, if not publicly, for the democracy movement popular in Menor, Crull and Desil. Being the crown princess, Senis was generally regarded as the best possible chance for a true political dialog about limits on or an outright end to the power of the monarchy.

But as diplomatic relations with the Korzons began to falter, there were many who regarded a political upheaval in the Jimmian government as a dangerous enterprise. And some were extremely critical of her views.

Senis married Zelienough of Vezan in 1032AU and for long it was considered in poor taste to continue political discussions about the couple during their "honeymoon" period. But Zelienough was often thought to be more sympathetic to the monarchists than to the democrats, and some believed he would ultimately have a cooling effect on Senis' desires for a democratic Jimmian.

Senis' relationship with her brother Molequ was more antagonistic than sympathetic, as Molequ was a vocal and outspoken supporter of the full authority of the monarchy as currently defined. In fact there were many who believed Molequ would have an end to the Board of Representatives and a return to absolute rule. Some even suggested it might be better if Senis were to step aside as heir if she did not believe in the monarchy and renounce the throne in favor of her brother. But Molequ publicly and loudly rejected such ideas, expressing instead his full confidence in his sister's right and ability to rule, even if they differed on the value of the monarchy in general.

In 1038AU, the democrats breathed a sigh of relief when the Crown Princess and Prince Zelienough welcomed their first child, Zequ into the world, further weakening Molequ's possible claim to the throne.

But on 6 Namion, 1040AU, the nation of Vezan and the entire world was rocked by the sudden and tragic deaths of both the Crown Princess and her husband in an automobile accident outside of Crull.

This left her brother, Molequ prince regent on behalf of little Zequ should his father die before Zequ was old enough to accept the crown. It also left the people torn by suspicion that Molequ had somehow orchestrated the death of his sister and might move against the new crown princess, Zequ in a similar manner. But the law was unyielding and Molequ more than willing to submit to any amount of investigation into his sister's death. For his part Molequ wanted as much as anyone to understand the complete circmstances of her untimely passing and showed great concern and pity for Zequ.
